Holiday fun at Fielding

The children and staff had great fun during the February half term week.

With an exciting week planned, the children experienced many new activities and days out. The trip to the science Museum was literally a blast; the children were thrilled at watching the 3D motion cinema  'Apollo 11 landing on the moon', they were literally rocking in their seats with the vibrations.

We were amazed how compact Tim Peake’s space capsule was, this prompted many interesting questions as you can imagine!

Later in the week they learnt to play ‘1, 2, 3 where are you?’ a game of hide and seek in the woods. It was fantastic to see the children playing freely in the natural environment, creating dens, setting booby traps and making mud cakes. Back at base camp the campfire was a new experience for many, learning to light a fire using a flint and steel and popping natural corn over an open fire was so much fun.

The next Fielding holiday club will be Monday 3rd – 7th April, look out for the next exciting programme a little nearer the time.
