New playground areas open to children next week.  All children will have up to 3 sessions during morning break and lunchtimes to play as a year group in the different spaces.

Sand and wellies

Children may come home with sand in clothes and their hair as a result of playing in the sand pit.  30 pairs of Wellington boots, in a range of sizes, have been provided for our youngest children (or those with smaller size feet).  It is up to children to decide if they should or want to wear Wellies when playing in the sand.  We suggest wearing the boots if children are going to play in the sand pit for a prolonged period of time.  It is probably not necessary to wear the boots if in the sand for a short-time, on the pirate ship or running through the sand-pit, up and over the mounds.  Please talk to your child about whether you expect them to wear the Wellingtons.

Closed at drop-off and collection

All playground areas and equipment are closed to all children, including younger and older siblings, during morning drop-off and afternoon collection.
