On 12th June 2017 Fielding’s Governing Body passed a resolution to begin the process of conversion to academy status.  This resolution includes a period of consultation – it is not a final decision to convert.  Any final decision will be made after a further Governing Body’ meeting following the end of the consultation period. The target date for any conversion to take effect is 1st April 2018.

 

This informal consultation period runs from Friday 7th July to 12 noon on Friday 4th August 2017. During this period the Governing Body will provide stakeholders with the opportunity to give their views and ask questions, including all staff and their recognised trade unions, parents, pupils and local schools.

2. Parents’ question and answer drop-in sessions.  Please submit questions or comments in advance of the meeting by email:
