Fielding community raises just under £2500 for Sport Relief

The Sunrise to Sunset Football match full time whistle blew at 6.12pm last Friday and Mr Thomas and Mr Winn are nearly fully recovered. Thanks to the huge effort and fantastic support from everybody involved the day was a great success. Everybody at Fielding, staff, children and parents should feel extremely proud for taking part in the day and helping to raise £2443 for vulnerable children all around the world with Sport Relief.

A big thank you must be given to every single child from Year 1 to Year 6 who played at some point in the game. Another thank you and well done to Reception and Nursery who came out during the day to show their support and cheer on the teams.

Thank you to the hundreds of parents who came down to the school to cheer, donate and even play in the game. You were all brilliant and demonstrate what a great school community we have here at Fielding!

The biggest thanks must go to Tessa Bertram and Amanda Hodge who ran the whole day from the sidelines, keeping scores, taking photos, providing food and drink to the players. Without them the day wouldn't have ran as smoothly as it did.

Well done Fielding! Once again you should all be proud. Send in ideas for the next Fielding Sport Relief challenge on a postcard...
