The Year 3 children have been on a school trip to visit the British Museum. The children had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Ancient Greeks, through independent research and activities designed to direct the children to see a variety of interesting Greek artefacts. It was clear that the children loved seeing a range of Ancient Greek objects that they had learnt about in school. Year 3 children were given the freedom to look around galleries exploring what they found interesting, taking notes and making sketches.  This gave our children the chance to show off their Fielding values. All of the staff were very impressed with the way the children represented the school. Miss Allen, Year 3 lead teacher, commented, ‘I was so proud of all the children. It was clear by the end of the visit that all the children had gained a lot from the trip and thank you to the parents that volunteered to support the trip.’
