  • Christmas Fair Survey

    Wed 11 Dec 2019

Thank you to everyone who attended the Christmas Fair on Saturday. We took more than £10,000 on the day from stalls, over £2k on the Raffle and £700 on the silent auction. We also introduced some new games, such as 'Santa down the Chimney' and 'Knock the Elf of the Shelf' (Sports Hall), Snowman Toss (outside) and a Photo Studio. Thankfully it wasn't raining so we also used the outside space to help free up congestion inside.

It's important that we glean any feedback from parents so that the PTFA can make the event better in future years, so please complete our short survey. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FieldingXmasFair

  • Recommended Reading List Fund at £3,521

    Wed 11 Dec 2019

Last week we introduced a weekly tracker for the PTFA's Recommended Reading List fund.  This follows the announcement recently that 80% of Fielding's Library Books were classified as 'Condemned'.

We have a target to raise an extra £5,000 on top of the £40,000 the school has already paid to buy new books for our children.  So, over the last seven days we have raised £150 - just £1,479 short of our target.

If you are able to donate, either scan the QR code with your phone on the poster at each school entrance, donate via https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8gmxwZI8ZG or purchase one of the books yourself and ask your child(ren) to bring it into the school office and highlight the value of giving.

  • Annual cooking fee - payment request

    Wed 11 Dec 2019 J Peterson

We are very proud to provide a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to attend class cooking sessions during school hours and these commenced in September.

An annual voluntary contribution of £12.00 to cover the cost of ingredients for all three terms was requested. Whilst this contribution is voluntary and can be removed from your cashbook upon request, we cannot continue to provide opportunities for our pupils without your continued support.

To pay, please log into your Laser school cashbook. Thanks to those parents who have already paid this.

Should you require any further information, please contact Jane at finance@fielding.ealing.sch.uk

  • Weekly Tracker introduced for Recommended Reading List Fund

    Thu 05 Dec 2019

Following the announcement recently that 80% of Fielding's Library Books were classified as 'Condemned', the PTFA are on a mission to raise an extra £5,000 on top of the £40,000 the school has already paid to buy new books for our children.

You may have seen a couple of banners around the school highlighting a 'Weekly Tracker Chart' which will monitor how parents are fundraising to hit the £5,000 total.  The PTFA have raised an extra £275 in the last seven days and we are now on £3,371...just £1,629 short of our target .

The details of spring term specialist clubs are available on the school website for viewing only. Please take time to look through our attractive brochure, it really brings home the amazing offer and variety of clubs, providing a one stop shop when reviewing and booking.

The spring term programme welcomes the return of London Scottish Rugby, QPR Football, the London Lens Animation Club and Musical Theatre.

We are very excited to announce there will be three new clubs next term. ‘Roll up, roll up!’ all budding performers for the amazing new Circus Skills club, plus ‘Authorfy’ a brand new creative writing club that is sweeping the nation, this will be run by our very own Ms Whaley. With the intention of mixing up our sporting offer Mr Winn is introducing a sports quiz club for children to further their knowledge in a fun and challenging way. Weekly themed sessions including sports charades, a question of sport plus many other fun games builds a compendium of sporting activities. Be prepared there will be medals and trophies to be won!

QPR football will return with half the usual capacity, however this will increase to the full quota after February half term inviting all children on the waiting list to join.

When viewing the programme please note Animation club is now a double session, there is so much content to fit into each session it became impossible to run for only one hour.

Before booking, please do take time to discuss options’ and interests with your children . Once bookings are complete it is not possible to cancel, swap or refund, also remember to give notice for childcare sessions that are no longer needed, otherwise childcare bookings automatically roll over to the following term.
