This year Fielding PTFA are using Chameleon Create for producing the Children's Christmas cards. This is a great way to raise money for school to send family and friends a personal seasonal greeting.
How it works; Every child will have been sent home with a Chameleon Create A5 flyer. In the corner of this flyer you will find your child's name and unique reference code, which corresponds to the image they have produced in class. You must register your interest on-line, using this code by October 27th. Failure to do this will mean your childs' art work is not processed and you will not have the opportunity to purchase their cards.
Parents will receive an email once their child’s artwork is ready to view. If you wish to purchase their cards, you can then also personalise the cards and add an array of foil templates for an extra festive effect. The ordering is done on-line through the company's website and our deadline for orders is the 14th November. We expect to receive the cards in school by the end of November.
If you have any questions, please email us at fieldingptfa@gmail.com.
As the evenings draw in it may be necessary for you to make alternative collection arrangements for your children. If this is a regular arrangement please help us by making sure the emergency contact list is up to date and those listed also have permission to collect your child.
For occasional changes to collection you may either inform the class teacher at morning drop off or email admin@fielding.ealing.sch.uk at the earliest opportunity.
If your child will be absent from childcare or a specialist club please email childcare@fielding.ealing.sch.uk to avoid us looking for your child or calling home unnecessarily.
The constellation points have been counted and the winning constellation team for our first half term is Pegasus. Well done to everyone on the winning team.
Pegasus Star Leaders have chosen sports and pizza for their team prize which will take place tomorrow afternoon.

All children in team Pegasus are also welcome to wear non-school uniform to school on Wednesday as part of their prize.
Today Fielding entered a squad of 8 boys into the Ealing Hub Football festival. The event was about taking part and representing your school in a fun way which had slightly less emphasis on actually competing. Our team were brilliant and demonstrated some excellent football however, and treated us to some very good goals. We ended the afternoon with a lot of goals scored and not many conceded so were very happy. Check out the PE page for some of our favourite photos.

This year Fielding are going to organise and host six Year 3 and 4 tournaments throughout the year across different sports. The aim of the tournaments is to give a selection of our younger children the opportunity to represent the school in competitive sport against other schools. Last week we hosted the first event of the year which was a small, 4 team tag rugby tournament contested by ourselves, Mount Carmel, Wood End Academy and Holy Family. The afternoon tournament was fantastic with all children seemingly loving the experience and all leaving with certificates.
Check out the PE page for some of our favourite photos from the afternoon.

The boys football team went to Spikes Bridge last week to compete in this years Featherstone tournament. We saw some very good football from most of the schools involved which resulted in us finishing 2nd in our group. Check out the PE page for the full report.
