Fielding
Primary School and Nursery
Keep up to date with all the news happening in the school at the moment. Articles are added during the week. Parents are encouraged to check regularly. Our weekly bulletin, emailed directly to parents, summarises content for the week.
We have a number of emails and calls from concerned parents who have not received the latest news bulletin via emails over the past few weeks. This is an issue with Laser and security of certain websites. Laser are currently dealing with this but have asked that you check your spam and junk folders. In the meantime please take a look at the latest news articles which are published on a Friday afternoon. We will tweet and update this article when this issue is resolved.
With the summer holidays fast approaching, the focus of our drop-in on Thursday 5th July, at the new time of 9-10 am, will be on family activities for the summer holidays. We will be providing information on what’s available in the local area. We will also be joined by Karen Esprit, our holiday club manager, who will be able to inform you about the wide range of exciting activities available for your children.
If you are in need of some inspiration or have any suggestions for other parents and carers, please drop into the school house between the times above. All parents and carers are welcome and Information provided is for all ages. Hope to see you there!
The Fielding Summer Fair is the final push in Fielding Primary school year for raising money for the build of the new Kitchen Garden and this will take centre stage at the Summer Fair on Saturday 30th June, 12 until 4pm, which will have a Garden Party feel to it.

It's time to make plans to keep the children happy, energised, and well cared-for during the summer. Look no further, Fielding Holiday Club programme is available on the school website and bookings open today for children in Reception through to Year 6.
This year, the programme has been refreshed looking more vibrant, user friendly, and remains jam-packed with a fantastic array of activities and exciting trips for the children to enjoy.
We see the return of the children’s favourite days out to Oxygen Free-Jumping and the Littern Nature Reserve plus an introduction to some thrilling new venues too. This year the children will have the opportunity to experience fishing at Northala Fields; the trip has been carefully planned and organised with the team at ‘Get Hooked on Fishing’. We also venture a little further afield to RAF Hendon, the museum has undergone a major transformation to celebrate and commemorate 100 years of the RAF with over 85 aircraft on site, nowhere else in London enables you to get close to so many historic and ground-breaking aircraft. As with all our trips travel is an integral part of the day, the children learn how to travel safely, see many new sites along the way and share the experience with friends.
On the days we stay at club children will have access to a variety of games, play equipment, arts and craft resources. Children may choose their preferred play space, whether that is Fielding Forest, the gaga pit,or pirate ship. Once again this year we will celebrate the children’s right to play on National Playday, (Wednesday 1st August) with Messy art, water fun, a teddy bears picnic and Minions bouncy castle!
Reasons to book early
Please see below for class teacher information for next academic year.
As last year each class will keep the same letter name, e.g 1P will become 2P, 2P will become 3P, 4F will become 5F etc.
Pupils will have an opportunity to meet and work with their new class teacher during our Move Up Morning on Monday 2nd July. Most teacher joiners will be working in school from 1st July until the end of term giving pupils even more chances to see their teacher in and around school.
