• EMS instrumental tuition cancellation deadline

  Should your child wish to discontinue with their instrumental lessons in the Summer Term, please ensure a cancellation form is completed and returned to the Finance Manager, by no later than Friday 7th February 2020 (tomorrow). Pupil numbers for the summer term have to be confirmed with EMS our music tutor provider and cancellations for the Summer term can unfortunately not be processed after this date. Please click here to view our terms and conditions.

• Welcome new office staff for school and Nursery

  Two new administrators join our school team to manage admissions, attendance and support finance from Monday 3rd February:

  • Marsha Coppin-Payne joins the main school office with responsibility for main school admissions, attendance and to support Jane Peterson, Finance Manager, with finance.
  • Jenny Eastwood joins the Nursery with responsibility for Nursery admissions, attendance and to support Tracy Cherry, Nursery Manager. Mrs Eastwood starts a new post, reflecting the growth of our Nursery since we opened full-time with our childcare offer for working parents. Mrs Cherry will write to Nursery parents shortly to welcome Jenny to our team.

  Sarah Holdaway, Admissions Officer and front-desk receptionist, left last week to join the Met Police. We wish Sarah well and every success.

  Tickets cost £3.75 per child (Free for adults). Book your tickets using our booking site detailed below. Advance sales will close in the evening of Sat 8th February 2020 and the price after this will be £5.00 on the door on Sunday 9th February 2020 and will be cash only.

  One portion of popcorn and unlimited squash will be provided with each ticket, and there will be plenty of other refreshments available to purchase on the day. Doors will open at 2.30pm. Remember to bring your own cushions and beanbags for maximum comfort.

   

  And now for the small print:-
  Here’s some information that’s important to read before purchasing your tickets:
  • Each child will receive unlimited squash and one portion of popcorn
  • We recommend children bring their own bottles with lids to fill up with squash and avoid spillage, or can use a cup provided on the day by paying a deposit of 20p. This is refundable once the cup is handed back at the end of the event
  • Parents do not need to purchase a ticket but will be asked to pay for any popcorn, drinks or snacks
  • The ticket price includes a 25p booking fee
  • All children must be accompanied - and supervised during the movie - by an adult. It is not a drop off event. The PTFA cannot take responsibility for your child
  • Once purchased, all tickets are non-refundable

• Nursery Holiday Club - February Half Term

  With just two weeks to go before the start of the February half-term Fielding Nursery are planning an exciting week of fun. We are planning a creative holiday with large collages to celebrate the start of spring term, we will be exploring clay and painting our creations. Baking will be on the agenda with the theme of 'sharing love with our families' following Valentines Day. Fielding's Forest and walking the plank on the school Pirate Ship will be a must.

  These exciting experiences are open to all children who currently attend nursery. Session timings and fees follow the same pattern as term-time, and sessions can be selected in any pattern to meet your childcare needs.

  Depending on your chosen sessions, please provide a wholesome healthy packed lunch and snack for teatime. Please remember to check that no food sent in with your child contains any nuts or sesame. Fruit will be available throughout the day for the children to access freely.
