    Competitive sport for all pupils

At Fielding , through PE, sport and other physical activities pupils learn about their responsibilities both as individuals and members of groups and teams. They learn to cooperate and to compete fairly, understanding their own and other’s roles.

"Physical activity not only improves health, reduces stress and improves concentration, but also promotes correct physical growth and development,"  commented Ashley Winn, PE and Sports Coach.

"Since starting at Fielding I have been impressed with the level of skill and dedication children show in PE lessons," added Dan Thomas, Specialist PE teacher. "We have introduced an updated PE curriculum that builds on the skills the children already have. We are also changing the way intra-school sport is run. We want every child to take part in competitive sport, each half term will end with  a whole school house tournament."
