  • Fielding Nursery Expression of Interest for September 2019

    Wed 28 Mar 2018

Fielding Nursery offers full time nursery places for 3 and 4 year olds, for up to 52 ½ hours per week from 7.30am to 6pm during school term-time and for around 9 weeks of school holidays. We offer learning and day care within a teacher-led school setting during Term time and Early Years Practitioner Led holiday Club. Fielding nursery benefits from a dedicated Team of professionals, including Teachers, Early Years Practitioners, Teaching Assistants and Play Workers.

Nursery learning and childcare matches the extended school day offered to families and siblings at Fielding Primary School, and is especially designed to support local working parents. Sessions are flexible and can be taken on a part-time or full-time basis depending on availability and the needs of each family.

    Term Time and Holiday session are as follows;

    •Early morning, including breakfast, 7.30am-8am

•Morning, including hot lunch, 8am-1pm – Hot lunch term time only

•Afternoon, including light meal, 1pm-6pm – Light meal term time only

Sessions are flexible and can be taken on a part-time or full-time basis depending on our availability and the needs of each family, mixing and matching any combination of early morning, morning and afternoon sessions over a week. Holiday sessions can be booked separately from term-time sessions for all children who attend Fielding Nursery.

    For more information about the nursery including fees, please see;

  • Violin and Piano for current Y1

Tue 27 Mar 2018 Michael Mappin

It's not that long until the current Y1 children will be moving to Y2.  Once again, we will be pleased to offer Violin and Piano lessons to the new Y2 children, with expert tuition provided by Ealing Music Service staff.

At present, I'm looking to discover how many potential new learners we might have.  With this in mind, your child should have come home today (Wednesday) with an easy-to-complete tick sheet.  Please fill it in and return it to your child's class teacher if you are interested.  (You don't need to put your child's name, as I am merely gauging interest at this time.)

More complete information will be available soon, and you will be able to book lessons sometime in June.

  • Further Music Timetables - updated versions

Tue 27 Mar 2018 Michael Mappin

We're updating some of the music tuition timetables, so children don't miss the same class each week.  The latest ones to view are:  MRS DAVIES' PIANO LESSONS ON MONDAY AND THURSDAY.  CLICK HERE to view them.

Please note:  if your child's timetable has not been updated, it means that the lesson will continue at the same time as previously.  However, some tutors will update the timetable at the beginning of next term.

  • Instrumental Tuition - further timetable updates

Tue 27 Mar 2018 Michael Mappin
As well as the updated Guitar timetables, the new TRUMPET and VIOLIN & 'CELLO (Mr Mannion's groups) timetables are available.  CLICK HERE to access them.
  • Fielding host Year 3/4 High 5 Netball tournament

    Tue 27 Mar 2018
Yesterday saw us host our third Year 3/4 sports competition of the year as 5 schools competed in our High 5 Netball tournament. Mount Carmel, St. Mark's, Oaklands and Holy Family all joined the Fielding team for a great afternoon of Netball. At the end of the afternoon the points were added up and St. Mark's were crowned champions with Fielding finishing in second place. However, every single child left with a certificate after learning a lot in what was for many of them, their first taste of competitive Netball. Well done everybody for taking part in a great afternoon.
  • Boys Football team lose Peal Shield Semi Final

    Tue 27 Mar 2018
The boys football team played in the Pal Shield Semi Final on Thursday against Selborne Primary School. It was a fantastic game and although you could argue that we were perhaps the better team, we were unable to make it count as we lost 2-1. Congratulations to Selborne and good luck in the final. Comisserations to our boys but well done for a great run in this years competition.
  • Updated Music Timetables

Mon 26 Mar 2018 Michael Mappin

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR KS2 ONLY - Y2 timetables stay the same.

In order that children do not always miss the same class subject to attend their music lessons, we have (where possible) swapped the times of some lessons.  Updates to the timetables will be published as soon as I have the information from tutors.  Announcements will be made here on Latest News and by Twitter.

Revised GUITAR timetables are now available to view.  CLICK HERE

  • Fielding Nursery holiday club, book now for the Easter Holidays

    Sat 24 Mar 2018

With just over a week left before the start of the Easter Holiday’s, Fielding Nursery is planning two weeks of fun and exploration.

The children enjoyed cooking so much in the February Half Term, we will be baking again this holiday, the children will create delicious cupcakes and fruit biscuits to share with their family. We will be planting this holiday so look out for some potted flower seeds coming home, please remind the children to water them and send us in some photos when they bloom.

There will also be lots of messy play to tantalise the children's senses, so remember old clothes for the holiday.

Holiday club will continue to explore the Fielding Forest and walking the plank on the school Pirate Ship, the children really enjoy these activities and are very keen to play a variety of games on the school field. We are also hoping for some warmer weather so that we can enjoy picnics on the school field.

These exciting experiences are open to all children who currently attend nursery. Session timings and fees follow the same pattern as term-time, and sessions can be selected in any pattern to meet your childcare needs. Please log into your Laser account to book.

Depending on your chosen sessions, please provide a wholesome healthy packed lunch and snack for teatime. Do remember to check that no food sent in with your child contains nuts or sesame. Fruit will be available throughout the day for the children.
