  • Items delivered to the School Office & Messages

    Thu 10 Oct 2019

We are still have having lots of items dropped off at the school office. In particular,  we have seen an increase in musical instruments, lunchboxes and clothing. We would ask you to encourage your child to be more independent and responsible for their own belongings and to ensure they have all that is required for their school day.

The protocol is for the school office to email the class teacher to inform them of the item at front desk. Teachers will only access emails at break times which means your child may not always receive their item on time.

If you have a message which needs to be passed onto the Class Teacher or Clubs Manager, please either speak to the class teacher at drop off or send an email to the admin team at admin@fielding.ealing.sch.uk  before 3pm.

Thank you for supporting us in minimising the disruption to your child's learning.

Last Friday afternoon the boys and girls football team played their first games in this years Peal Shield and Ealing Girls Cup against Lady Margaret. Both teams were excellent with the girls winning 8-0 and the boys winning 15-0.

Then yesterday our cross country squad travelled to Greenford for this years cross country competition. The races were tough but we were very pleased to see 2 of our children earning silver medals in races with over 100 competitors. We will have to wait about a week to find out if the team will be crowned champions for the 4th year running.

Carey Marx was the winner of best international comedy show in New Zealand in 2009 & 2011 and comes fresh off his stint at the Edinburgh Festival.

Omid Singh meanwhile is an America, born to an Iranian mother and Indian father, and is one of the top multicultural comics working today.

Steve Gribbin is a diminutive guitar-wielding satirist from Liverpool whose scabrous comedy songs and off the wall observations have made him one of the firm favourites of the comedy circuit.

This is an Adult only event.

  • Values in October

    Fri 04 Oct 2019 L Stabler

    October Values

October sees the Core Value focus changing to Resilience with Key Stage 2 looking at the linked value of Perseverance. These are very important values to develop in our children as they are about encouraging the pupils to not give up and to embrace challenges.

To ensure a deep understanding, Reception and Nursery pupils will continue to focus on Respect, focussing on being kind to themselves and their friends.

Please continue to talk about our Values with your children as they help them develop both morally and support their academic work. Please see our Values page and the specific webpages on Resilience and Respect for our resources.
