Pupils will have their treat on Monday 14th December in the afternoon. There will be pizza, popcorn and Christmas movies for the Orion Team to enjoy. Click here to see the full results.

In the Spring term, Fielding children will begin to participate in the Fielding Times Tables Challenge. This challenge is designed to ensure all pupils are secure in all times tables, up to 12x12, by the end of Year 4 as outlined as expectation in the National Curriculum 2014.
More information about the challenge will be available in the Spring term.
In the meantime, please use the Times Tables Intensive (link below), to practise times tables.
The Calculations Policy at Fielding has now been updated. It has been designed to support pupil's learning and their progression in written calculation throughout the school. Pupils will work through each stage of the calculations (not year level), specific to each operation, as they grow more confident with their maths skills and understandings. To ensure pupils are aware of their prior learning and their next steps, teachers will endeavour to provide pupils with an understanding of which stage they are working at. Pupils should then be able to clearly recognise, and explain, the written calculation strategy they are using for each of the four operations.
Please click on the link below to access the calculation policy - the summary sheets are a quick reference guide.
